Hi kennytoh

Did the paint peal off? If not, you can try using Carglo or scratchX to remove the scratches.

I have apply Carglo directly to the area of scratch and manage to remove it. Clean surface before applying. Polish the area. May need to do it a few round before seeing result. After that, clean the surface again.

The bottle looks like this: http://www.driven.com.sg/ProductDetail.asp?Model=CCCP

Kenny,

Don't let the scratches or dents bother you too much.

Mine also has lots of dents and scratches.

I just left it as it is.

A dentless car with perfect paintwork is not going to fetch you a higher resale value.  ;)

guys..after i used the scratch remover to try remove the scratches, it leaves an ugly patch which
i can't get rid of...so i used polisher and the patch becomes less obvious but still can see the
patch in certain angles..how ah ?

same concern here.. i got a few scratches on my pearl white latio too.. Can see the "black" paint underneath it liao.. I also worry abt rusting...

i am thinking of going back to TCM and ask them to touch up for me during my coming 10K servicing .. if possible FOC..

Anyone has tried?

heehee, im waiting for my 10k servicing too. then will decide how. when i first collect my car, i noticed many lines on my car caused by polishing. then my SE promised and arrange a free polishing for mi during the servicing...but for the spraying, i doubt they will FOC and somemore it probably will take 1 day to spray the whole door.

when i first collected my car, i notice my mileage is 50. i only get to know that it is very high which normally should be only around 5km. do u think it might be a test drive car?

Test drive car usually has at least a few hundred kilometres mileage.

Very likely that your new car was driven to the various external contractors to fit the after market accessories.

Small touch-up TCM can do FOC, at least I try that at Ubi. Colour will be a bit diff as our car colour fade as time goes by compare to the stock paint. But it is just simple touch-up for those not so picky.
When I see new scratch, I try to wash then apply sealant on the same week as to reduce the chance of rusting.
