You will have to wait for about 2 weeks for TCM to clean up and polish your car  & fit your sports rims, leather seats and other accessories.

Don't rush them on this or they will do a lousy job.

Despite me not rushing them, I got my car with the dashboard covered in a layer of dust.   :crying:

Clarence.. then you got scold them? die sia.. i receiving this coming monday... i got a question which i think might be abit lame..

how are able to know the car is brand new from the warehouse instead of the one in the displayed showroom? cause mine is a white color was told to be the last one in the warehouse. i scare they replace it with the displayed one..

Scolding them will not get the matter resolved. I just went home to wipe with a cloth.

Even when I sent for my 5,000km servicing, they also did not clean the engine bay even though the service schedule says engine bay will be cleaned.

All the dust still remained.

Just remember to make sure the chasis no. in your car is same as the one written in the log card.

I am sure TCM has the integrity and will not swindle you in giving you a showroom car when you paid for a brand new car.

Ha ha didnt get it as expected.  :yehyeh: :yehyeh:

Congrats to those who got it.

Just curious, how many of you who got it, what were your specs? Sedan, sport, premium, bodykit, sports rims, etc?

Just trying to prove my theory and seemed that TCM not keen as bid the same amount at last exercise.

totally agree that Borneo will do anything to take top place. My bro-in-law who booked his Vios (G) after the COE crash to $2 got his COE on the last round. Moreover, Borneo never even enter bid for him and straight away give him a open-cat COE. Guess what... the open-cat COE is ard $10500 when the Cat A COE is ard $10400. Now is his enjoying his new ride  :cool2: .

I doubt TCM will be so good to give us (booked aft COE $2) this type of offer.
So what? When your BIL scrap his car (in less than 10 yrs), his COE rebate will be based on $2 nia hor AND NOT $10,500. :devil2:

Aiyo, no diff lah. I work in the port and I've seen those labourers (drivers) loading and unloading cars from big car carriers. There were so many screeching noise machiam they were doing Tokyo Drift like that. The cars were parked bumper to bumper in open yard, under hot sun, rain, sea breeze/wind, etc. I saw already also :nonod: So?

Check with bros who got the coe today, did u guys book ur car ex-stock before TCM increase the price? I book mine ex-stock $47K and did not get the coe today.  My guessing is if u guys got ur coe today at the price same as mine, then my SE trying to earn more in my opinion. My bid was $3K+ same as the previous bid, no revised.

Aiyo, don't worry lah, you all. Some of you were saying that BM has more bidding power than TC. But don't forget, they also drop their prices for the Vios and Altis, etc by about the same amount as TC for Latio. So their margin will be similar to that of TC's and they will not be able to bid much higher than TC could. Some of you got your COE today right? TC has been in the car business for so many years liao, don't tell me they are so dumd as to price their cars so low that they will not have enough to secure the COE for the buyers meh? Then all their SEs working overtime to secure the sales just for fun ar? They must have done their calculations, checked and rechecked before publishing their car prices mah. If old cocks like them didn't know all these then TC would have closed shop long ago liao lo, tiok bo? So don't worry, all of you will get your COE and car within the contracted 6 bids. And you won't need to do any top up, trust me. Don't care what your SE tells you or how he/she psychos you. The most you tell your SE: "Ok, fine. Please return my deposit and I'll take the business to your competitor." Call their bluff and see what they say. They treated you like king, smiled and said so many nice things to you (even though he/she might have hated your guts) and finally convinced you to sign on the dotted lines. You think they will so easily return your deposit and let you go meh? And what about their commi$$ions, they don't need to earn ar? So don't worry, be patient. I say you will get means you will get.

Nothing wrong with showroom car of course, but the buyer shd not be paying for  a brand new car and getting a showroom car.

Showroom car usually comes with additional discount of $1,000 and above.

I know Mazda stores their new cars in the open in the West.

Nissans are kept under shelter.

Excellent sound advise

NEVER EVER top up for COE, unless you are really desperate for your car.

I have seen so many cases of buyers being asked to top up COE. They refused and still got their COE.
