I got my new car yesterday, 30/12/2009... My OMV is $170059..

Sigh... i got my rim scratched when moving up to my house carpark. Any one knows where to get it "sand" ? really sad... low morale, somemore it is a new car... not a good omen..

Basic or premium, sedan or sport?

Hello,

The depreciation is negligible for a few days, same if you left your car in your MSCP and go for a holiday. So does it make sense to you now unless you don't go for holidays ? Anyway it up to you to postpone your collection date if you have reason to collect on your actual date, I merely suggest, don't let a juvenile's philosophy affect you about the depreciation theory, once you bought a car, it already a loss immediately.

Alex aka Jazz,

Again, I wish to reiterate and remind you to refrain from name calling and personal attacks, which is in breach of forum rules.

My reply to fellow forumer "tcheckhuan" below was a neutral point of view with no mention of yourself at all.

tcheckhuan,

Your new car has likely been registered. Otherwise your SE would not ask you to collect your car.

I don't see how it makes any sense for you to ask Tan Chong to store your newly registered car at their collection centre until a later date, when the depreciation for your new car has already started from the day it was registered.

Everyone is entitled to their personal views, but the line is drawn when one (yourself) starts getting personal for no reason, and totally unprovoked.

If you have nothing better to do, think it time for you to self examine. If you have courtesy, pls refrain calling my name instead of nick unless you need to re-educate again.

You quoted my post and reply tcheckhuan, are you in a fit of mind at that point of time since you mentioned you reply to fellow forumer and still dare to reply with no mentioning of me ?  :out:

When did I call you names ? Did I reply you, or you start to malign me again as usual? I just explaining to tcheckhuan that why I quoted him, so why came inbetween and malign me that I called you name and personal attack ? I demand an apology from you young man !!!

Just wondering who among the group who obtained their COE in the last bidding have yet to collect their car yet.  For me, I'm slated to finally collect the car this coming Friday.

Did you buy from TC directly or from one of their dealers?  I reckon that those who bought from TC were able to collect last week while their dealer cars were pushed down the queue.

Nope, bid so low how to get. Last time not willing this time revise bid also so low. Guess I'll be another unsuccessful case for 6 bids.  :yehyeh:

But looking at the rate, won't be surprise if when finally COE dropped to 2k on either my 5th or 6th bid then they get it cos it be lighter on their pockets.

So gotten your car? N wats the model?

mine 3rd bid also unsuccessful...sianzzz short of only $500. My guess is my SE predicts coe will fall either before the CNY bidding or after CNY.

Hmm 16k only.. that's quite a big gap from the 18k quoted by my SE b4 booking.  Let's see how he talks himself out of this when I collect tomorrow.

It depends on whether urs a premium or basic. Believe 16K is for basic.
