should I go for paint protection?
« on: January 08, 2009, 07:16:44 PM »
Hi I just got my car on Sat.  ;D
I'm considering if I should go for paint protection for my new car?
Any advice? Does it really help and lasting as what they claimed (18 months  :confused1:)
How about solar film?

Need to prioritise because my $$ is limited.  ::)

let me point you to this site: http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showthread.php?t=1942893&highlight=turtle+wax

i used to do PP for my previous car and i can conclude that if you don;t take good care of your car, it'll still turn sh.it. and one thing i agree is that no PP can last 18mths. they still require you to go back for their car wash and touch up for that 18mth period. if you dun mind throwing money to them, by all means. :)

dont bother with commercial pp. most are snake oil.

just buy some quality wax/sealant n diy. should cost u less than $100 n some  arm strenght.

autoglym, duragloss, meguairs are quality pdt.
