I notice some wires going to the back of the rear view mirror, wats the purpose?

if i remember correctly, there is a few more sensor (eg side mirrors and boot)

no lah, you have 3 switches to lock/unlock the car, so at least need 3 sensors.
what's more, need to detect whether the i-key is inside or outside car, you can not lock the car when the i key is inside the car

more sensor is to increase the total area where your i-key can be detected. Sensitivity got to do with the sensor itself and the battery health of your i-key.

you can't lock the car when the i-key is inside but if u use the i key remote to lock from inside it can.
