Dear all,

Kids vomited in the backseat this morning.  :(

I prefer to send it to a professional to do the job, can anyone recommend? I need the car almost everyday and i really need to get it done quick and good....

Thanks!

Yo Bro,

You can try the Interior SPA package. See will it help ? I have not try before but saw other forumers recommended and it car grooming service is cheaper than some of the freelance groomer. Pls feedback if it good. I may need grooming end of this month.

Thanks Jazz, this is another hope for me.

During lunch time, i went i IV Shine, they use Sonax product - Sonax Upholstery and Alcantara Cleaner. After the seat dries up, i can still see the stain. I will go down again to do it a second time tomorrow to see how it goes.

Anyone out there, pls give any advice if you can, thanks.

Dear Ang Chor,

Thanks for your suggestion. Just to confirm yours is also alcantara seat? Pardon me because this is the first time i have come across such seat/material and i am getting rather paranoid when i read everywhere that common upholstery or fabric cleaner is not suitable for our alcantara.

This afternoon i sent the car in to IV shine and they use Sonax alcantara cleaner to wash it once  . After the seat dries up, i can see the stain area is darker in colour (my alcantara seat is beige).

For your case, after 3 or 4 washes, u get back the original colour?

Hi Guys,

Jus an update, the turtle wax upholstery cleaner works. I did it with the car parked under the sun. Use a brush to brush the seat after spraying the foam directly onto the stain spot and follow by using luke warm water. Let it dry and repeat for 4 times. In fact by the 3rd time, the stain is gone already.

Cool!

just to check >>> for our alcantara seat,

can we just use normal leather conditioning/shampoo to maintain it ?? I am using waxco leather care now...

Or we need to buy some special cleaner?

turtle wax uphostery cleaner => is for all leather seats rite?

Those "upholstery cleaner" is usually for NON-leather material, e,g, fabric seats.
For leather seats, better get a leather cleaner/conditioner. Usually stated explicitly on the bottle that it is for leather.

I am currently using Armour All for the leather portion of the alcantara seats. Dun like the smell and dun think the effect is good also.

It is not stated explicitly that the turtlewax cleaner can be used on our suede material, i am merely trying my luck because i m at my wit end. Lucky it works!
