I like this statement.

No point to zheng until like a sports car, but the pickup lost to a taxi. No offence to bros. Just my point of view.

Err bro, maybe your car will loose taxi but there are some that will win taxi one

You will actually be surprised that the skoda is a 3L capacity if I'm not mistaken. If you see on the road, most taxis are very new.

Skoda taxis are turbo charged bro. How u wanna compare like tat? But to mod or not is really depend on the owner's interest and wanting to experiment with different stuff. It may sound really ******** or not logical to mod an uncle's car but we do it for interest sake lah. Aren't you curious of how fast/slow a latio can go or just take it as it is? heehee

fight w taxi hard la, not much car on e rd can fight w their pick up lo! if wan t b as fast as em, just get a taxi licence. have the pick up, no nd mod, no nd scared LTA, and can earn money while enjoying e fast car! haha!

no nd surprise for 3L skoda since toyota crown if i didnt rmb wrongly is alr a 3L taxi ages ago?
nw is fast nt really because of its bigger CC but the turbo diesel !

personally i think every car gt its own fun la. depend on hw u play only. lets hv this scenario, imagine latio keep sticking behind e butt of a 1.8L civic. thou e civic infront but i think latio will b e one grinning and civic will b one getting piss. sometime beat someone straight down will b boring but surprise other is where e fun kick in!  :devil2:

Ya that's what I meant we can't beat the taxis. so I never fight with them.  :(

Hopefully TC can bring in the turbo charge 1.8 latio, then got chance. No need to mod somemore. ::)

theres a saying : there will always b someone faster than u. but i dun understand y so enthu abt winning taxi. haha!  :D even TC bring in oso muz see weather e buyer can afford e higher rd tax n insurance not. if at e start were t get a truely performance car, will nt b driving latio in e first place. there r so many option of car out there tt r fast at stock. so TC bring in 1.8L turbo latio or not dun really mk a diff lei i think. cause i believe this car is chosen over certain issue like e money involve.

Agree. Even TC bring in Latio with 1.8L turbo, how fast you think you can drive in Singapore road? how often you drive over 90km/h?
I believe... if you do drive a 1.8L turbo car very fast (over 90km/h), good pick-up (0 - 100km/h in <5 secs and winning those taxi.. )...your car will be drunk cos drink too much of Petrol  :D
Let said, if TC bring in Latio with 1.8L turbo, will you find a way to winning a Ferrari?? :devil2:

My point is no matter how much we mod our latios, it is still a family car. It is not meant to be a racer since it can even beat a taxi.

I am planning to pass my ride to my boy when he turns 18 and gets his license.  After reading this thread, I should talk to him about the advantage to having the uncle's image LOL ... he will be more mature-looking then.

This car not so good for new driver if you intend to orientate him after he gets his license....cos the handbrake not within ur reach...the last time i orientate my younger brother who just got his license, I almost die of heart attack...other than shouting for him to brake...there is nothing else i can do to stop the car...also....latio accelerate is super light...compared to the lesson car he has been driving is very different...hence he tend to overstep onto the accelerate when moving off from stationary....last...our steering wheel super light....so he overturn the steering wheel with a loud bang when he turn it to the maximum very quickly and suddenly....heartache when i heard that sound.....

Hmm...At least, i try my best to drive 90km/h in Singapore HW. To keep low fuel consumption and don't wish to get any "free ticket" from TP.  :D

Hmm...look like i need to give TP your latio plate number...so, that can straight away give you some "free entry ticket" when they meet you on the road, since you always over 90km/h on Singapore road  :devil2: :devil2:
