Even if latio have 1.6 / 1.8 / 2.0l models i doubt so it will attract the younger crowds, i believe they will be more appealed by the outlook of a civic rather than a boxy latio sedan...

As for hatchback, i believed many of the drivers below 35 yrs old would still opt for swift or jazz/fit.

Totally agreed, even the kia cerato forte looks sportier and cheaper.

The selling point of nissan is not sporty look, not matter how much you zheng, but it's the spacious and comfy level. Unless nissan changes its CEO. Probably nissan is targeting at the uncle group, while the son company, subaru, is targeting at the younger group.

Mod the car so it won't look so uncle loh. Almost all 1.5 jap cars with the exception of civic, maxda3 also look uncle. It's the owner fault if the car looks uncle mah.

Change your bodykit like this... Sure not look like uncle car anymore...

Change my dad's sunny to latio and I paid the monthly installment. So considered whose car?  ;D

Latio is one car that I fall in love with it when I sit inside.

With full bodykit doesn't look that uncle.

Agree!. I just love its space and quietness of the engine. Some more cheap and made in Japan. Good for a family car.

That's why their market share in singapore has been reduced. Even the major taxi company also buy lesser from them anymore.

The prob is not how the car is designed or how it looks but is the brand that makes ppl think its uncle car. If u look at s'pore car population, and see Sunny, Latio and Cefiro how many uncle vs youngster u can spot drivin tis few models?
Out of 10 i tink oni 2 are drivers aged below 35 yrs old.

(We tok abt jap brands) --> just take a look at eg. Lancer, Colt, Civic, Fit, Swift and Vios, 7 out of 10 belongs to a younger crowd.

Face the fact, like wat i said unless ur nissan is a fairlady, silvia, GTR or skyline no matter how much mods u do ppl will still generalize our ride as an UnClE car.

I like this statement.

No point to zheng until like a sports car, but the pickup lost to a taxi. No offence to bros. Just my point of view.
