All About Car Grooming
« on: April 19, 2009, 01:01:41 AM »
Hi All Lations,

I noticed there isn't a thread on car grooming services. Care to share your experiance, pricing, recommendation, etc. with the rest of us?
It'll be very helpful for people like myself who's looking for a reasonable price car groomer who can do a good job as well.

Thank you for any feedbacks.

Actually if you don't mind, grooming yourself is a good exercise and you bear the fruits of your own labour.   ;D

It's much cheaper too.

Hi all,

Thanks for your feedback, still no ballpark figure of what you guys were paying though  :glare:

Anyways, i check out a groomer near my place and he quote me $128 to do a 1 time job and sign the membership for $288 for 3 times grooming, i thought it was too ex and decline.

So i went and got another mobile groomer saw on one of the threads and decide to give him a try, was quoted $80. The polish was ok but not fantastic, he wasn't very attentive and i found out there's a huge patch he waxed but forgot to wipe off, i only notice it when i left him so gotta clean it off myself...

Waxing is not tiring if you use the right product which is easy to wipe off, eg. Kit or Autogym liquid wax etc.

And apply  a thin layer will do. Never apply too thick a layer of way. Tough to wipe off.

Actually waxing or not, not so impt lar as long as it is clean.....personally, when i let outside grooming center to groom my car, i more interested for the interior...cos they have those powerful vacuum cleaner to clear all the dirt off my car.... ::) ::) ::)

Hi, i used Car 'N Spa and he charges $60 for Latio to wash, wax and clean interior. Very good work and even managed to remove scratches! He uses 3M wax and hand polishes. I'm honestly very happy with his work. U can find his contact in the Commercial section.

Hi, All!

i just had my car washed at Blk 73 Redhill Rd, level 6A (MSCP) for only $4! 3 guys hand washed my car very thoroughly and only $4! They did a really great job and even included tyre shine!

They also have waxing service for $50 which includes claying also. Extra $15 if u want them to use Autoglym's High Definition Wax.

i did not try their wax service, only did my car wash based on collegue's recommendation. Great especially if u wanna go Redhill market for lunch coz they are at the new MSCP that is just across the road. Great if u happen to be in the area.

But i hear they are very busy on weekends...
