have u encounter static shock on other places or things?

could be ur static is high so easily 'shocked'. but if not..try to check ur car grounding is done properly..start with the latest mod u have done on eletrical item..
30% on ride, 70% on driver....
-=License to SPEED=-

-Front 2 pot brakes, rear single pot
-Customise Coilover
-Full UR brace

Does it occur after driving or before entering the car?

Cold weather recently, might be because of that.

But it's better to get shock on the door, instead of when you pumping petrol, the static can cause a fire. Always touch the door before pumping petrol.

Hmm.. I seldom have any static shock with the car until recently. I installed a pmax voltage stablizer for 4 months and there wasn't any problem leh.

AS for my wife, she kena static shock even before the VS was installed. If i were to bring to TCM, will they charge me ah? My car is just 8 months old but i never go back TCM after my 10000km.

Some time is due to the constant rubbing of carpet and even the seat
