Owner's Manual says Latio can accept min 92RON.

If you car shakes or vibrates during idle even on 95RON, your timing could be off.

I have been using 95RON on my Latio for over 1 yr and don't encounter such problems.

Microsoft also declare the minimum requirement of their Windows XP Professional Product:  :devil2:
•   233 MHz minimum required (single or dual processor system);* Intel Pentium/Celeron family, or AMD K6/Athlon/Duron family, or compatible processor recommended
•   128 megabytes (MB) of RAM
Anyone using Windows XP on that minimum spec and feel happy?? :glare:

Car vibrate during idle, also might cause by broken Engine mounting. :zipped:

Clarence, can share with us your experience using RON95? FC, power & performance...

70% I pump Esso95, 30% Malaysia Ron97/98 or Esso92. It is all ok for me. Dun feel much different during idle... At least the road noise is louder than engine noise.

my car is 4+ yrs, even if the petrol don't cause the car to vibrate a bit, other old parts will. So I close one eyes liao. Life is easier.

close left eyes? :confused1:... i think you don't want to see your partner, who sit on the left hand side, more than the dashboard lor  :bleh:

normally i won't close one eye and see what thing is vibrating. Use ears to heard and your hand to touch is more accurate.

jmaybe a little OT, cos its about MY shell fuelsave

just back from Genting for almost a week....pumped the new shell fuelsave97 at MY.

 :nonod: :nonod: :nonod:
the car now like ai si ai si and FC increased...

previously when full tank use to be able to hit 130km -140km at the 1st mark...this tank of fuelsave97 only get slightly less than 110km.  Some more its pump till almost spill kind of full tank.

some station in MY have their "exta formula" in the fuel they sell and some station have their pump "tuned" too for extra profit. Try another station next time.

The Shell station right out side SHELL facility in Port Dickson should be one of the station that provide pure petrol. If you visit PD, try pump there.

Hmmm... MY shell doesn't perform well on my car.... FC decreases for me... so now.. i always pump petronas Primax3... works much better than shell on my car...

Agree... I start going JB to pump Shell fuelsave 95 every 3 days (3/4 tank full) since 2 weeks ago, the FC also dropped, and the engine like sluggish.. no power at all.. maybe next time try petrolnas..

I used to pump Caltex 92, and i feel it has more power and better FC than the Shell Fuelsave 95!!!

SGP petrol price gettign ridiculous. No choice but to go pump at malaysia every morning around 740am before i head to tuas...

Shell petrol got problem since they introduce the FuelSave. Not only RON95 but also RON97 and V-Power.

I used to be regular customer - Shell RON97 (30%) and V-Power (70%). But now I force to switched to Petronas Primax 3 (RON97).

All other types of car (Toyota, Proton, Myvi and etc) than latio also experienced of FC drop and engine not smooth issue when using the Shell FuelSave petrol. Most of my friends (who previously Shell super fan like me) have switch to other brand. I think Shell needs to take some action to win back their customers liao. :D

just my own personal experience...

used to be on Esso5000, where I find it gives me the power when I needed, one day fuel running low....then LL go pump shell95 find their 95 seems to be lasting longer than esso5000, observing quieter engine rev but MORE power then esso before they launch their fuel save. In fact I think they started phasing in fuelsave months before official announcement...

All in all I find shell95 now gives better power but lower rev noise, gives abt 40KM more at full tank compared to my previous esso5000. sticking to shell95 now...

If you read back some of my posting...i used to advocate esso5000 as the fuel i preferred, now i am sticking with shell95

For me, I have always been using Esso 95.

During the S$1/litre Shell Fuelsave promo, I pumped 38 litres of Shell Fuelsave 98.

I could not detect any increase in power.

Mileage suffered by about 5%.

Wait till your tank empty now then try the V-Power... remember to press hard hard your accelerator (if still driving with light right foot, then no different you drive with RON92 or RON95 mah)... then you feel the different on "POWER"..ha.ha...   :devil2: Besides, you can flush your "Fuel Injector"... one stone two birds...

but, as i said, the Shell petrol got problem nowaday. :glare:
