I heard that mineral oil allows the engine to break in faster.

Recommendations for major servicing which includes auto transmission oil change is at 20,000km intervals.

So are you going to renew your auto transmission oil change at 15,000km or 25,000km?

if thats the case i would change mine auto transmission oil at 15000 km together with the engine oil. i think its safer to change it earlier than late. so any recommendation for which engine oil anyone? from the choices that i listed below?

1. Amsoil XL Series Synthetic Motor Oil (XLF 5w30)
2. Amsoil 100% Synthetic Motor Oil (ASL 5w30 better or ATM 10w30???)
3. Amsoil Signature Series & S2000 Synthetic Motor Oil (SSO 0w30)

I'm currently using the ASL amsoil. The initial feeling is great, just as others, but after about 6- 7 K, feel that the engine is sort of rough.

My next change in next month would be trying out the amsoil SSO. Though it is slightly more exp than the ASL, but still cheaper than a lot of other brands.

This is just my personal feeling. Dun challenge me to prove it.

Used Amsoil and Mobil before. Currently on M1 because I lazy to go buy my Amsoil EO already. Used 0w20. So far so good until I change to 5w30. I can feel the diff. Now on M1, exp but not bad. Heh

Heading for 72K servicing soon. Considering to do engine flush or not. Recommend?
