Why my rpm is higher in neutral gear compare to in drive mode?
« on: November 23, 2009, 11:28:02 PM »
Hi all,

Have been driving latio for number of years. I recently observe my rpm is higher in neutral than in drive mode. Anyone can advise any thing wrong? And what can be done. Thanks.

bro, imagine u are running normally...

then someone puts on a 20kg bag on u (engaging gear). You will naturally slow down.

don't worry, your car is working perfectly fine. It will be weird if this phenomenon happens in the opposite way. (i.e. rpm higher when in drive mode)
