Hi All,
Wheel alignment required after front-shock changed to KYB ?
Tks in advance !!
-
Yes its needed as they had to remove screws that hold the front transmission together.
-
thank you !!!
-
oh another thing ..... since replacing to KYB gas-shock, driving is firmer ......... but notice there is a "tok" sound on the front-right and ONLY when going over humps, what's this ?? what need to be replaced ? Price?
Tks in advance !!

I am still waiting to change my shock. I am going to change the lower arm joint together with shock then do wheel alignment at one go.
Did you check the condition of your lower arm joint? a ball-joint thing behind your wheel hub. I remember a bro posted some pic of it.

after months of bz schedule, manage to squeeze some time today and get it replaced;
1. lower arm-joint both side
2. rubber mounting both side
driving, braking, over humps is :thumbsup:
but workshop say due to KYB-gas-shock is firmer than stock-shock, therefore might reduce the lifespan of arm-joint & rubber mounting :unsure:
Have a great New Yr !!
