Title: Maintenance Qtns for Pioneer Owners
Post by: Qpik on December 31, 2010, 07:47:10 PM
As above, anyone still hanging onto their ride?

Just want to know whether you have done major parts replacement and what/where it is being done.

If possible, the damage done to your wallet

TIA

was thinkg that i might hv to fork out 4 digits cos last major svcing done at TC, they had been informed me that quite a fair bit of stuff are due.  contemplating either TC or outside wkshop.

i did my svc-ing at AutoSavers Defu lane, very pleased with their service btw. Brought my own AMSOIL to change.

normal items such as EO, CVT oil, engine oil filter, Brake fluid, air filter, aircon filter, rear brake shoes. Spark plugs still good condition so didn't change. Other checks on parts such as air-con, axles, etc etc were done also.

i stayed with the mech throughout the whole 4 hours of servicing, to ensure all those points that has to be checked, will be checked..

actually wanna change aircon filter myself, cheaper to DIY (around 15-18bucks) which otherwise cost 30bucks at AS. But since already there, find no point to DIY.. :)

My yr05 latio sp most ex repair was the a/c compressor & related parts which cost 1.3k

I also regularly service my car at AS Defu. Bring my own EO always unless lazy to buy

Next repair should be front suspension....
