Title: Replacement of door molding?
Post by: valles on December 03, 2011, 06:03:51 PM
Hi folks,

Just noticed today that both my driver and front passenger's outside door molding is a bit jugged out and it seems bended outwards. Hence wondering where can I get it replaced?

Thanks.

Hi i have mine fixed already. You can buy at $65 (before GST) at one of the Nissan parts stockist. Installation is simple - just pull out the exisitng one and then "hammer" in the new one with your palm will do. No need to dismantle the whole door. ;D

Wanted to change mine as well. Right side rear passenger.

Notice the Malaysian version Latio window molding is chrome...maybe can 'upgrade' :)

About jugged out maybe not sit in properly in the door groove.  Check under the rubber.  Mine was likewise, I use small screwdriver to slowly pushback into the groove, now okay. All rubbers aligned and sitting Swee Swee.

I also apply Armorall to prevent drying and cracking. My car 6.5 years Liao, rubbers all still in good condition.

Hi all,

You can get it from Mandarin Auto at:
458 Tagore Industrial Avenue
Singapore 787827

Per piece abt 60+. Installation not provided. But, it's rather easy. Pull out the old one and then install the new one. Only for the back passenger door moulding u need to secure with the screw.
