what was recommended in the manual, nissan long life coolant? thinking of trying engine ice but it is propylene based and not sure if it's suitable for our car. :unsure:

Just use back Nissan .... or any coolant with lower pH. Else your tank will rust ... ;D

:confused1: what tank will rust? the coolant reservoir is plastic. ethylene glycol coolant pH is ~7 as it is mixed primarily with distilled water.

the coolant reservoir tank is plastic but the fuild will contact with many metal parts in the process of cooling. Your radiator can not be plastic correct?

pls don't TOYOTA long life coolant to replace ur coolant,it'll damaged ur radiator. :nonod:

using redline water wetter. so far so good le.
just replace every 2 year and forget about it.

yeah so far had use engine ice & water wetter for both bike n car, no side effect or any corrode of radiator.
