Title: Hissing sound ...

i keep hearing 2 Humming sounds (high pitch) when i am driving

1) some time during driving, i keep hearing this Humming sound whenever air con is switch on (not everytime i get this sound when AC is on). When i switch off AC, the sound disappear...... Does this mean my cooling coil got problem??

2) whenever i am driving. i get this high pitch Humming sound from the front of the car (dashboard). The sound will still be there even when AC is switched off. IT will only disappear when i switch off the engine.. What is wrong??

I have this problem too. So what is the root cause?

Now my aircon on and off is working. don't know if it is cooling coil or compressor. but with the sound when AC is ON, should be compressor as it is the only moving part?!
With only fan ON got no problem and sound.

With only fan ON got no problem and sound.
Hissing noise is ur a/c gas is not enough,there should hv a leak.as for the on and off,it's the compressor.
