Title: how to silent latio "horn" opening and closing door?

Hi,

anyone out there can help on this issue.

this happen when my car battery dead. And cant resume to silent after changing a new batt.

if your alarm was installed by TCM, then it is very simple...

just turn the ignition knob to acc. then turn off...this is 1 cycle..do it quickly for 5 cycles....then u will hear the horn goes off....

if u want the "horn" back, then do it same method again.....

what is this horn you are referring to? is it the sound made when cannot sense the car key when closing door?

a short horning will sound when opening and closing of the door.
Nope. i will said the original is a beep or beep x 2 sound.

Oh. Jus to check with you bro do you know how to remove the beep beep beep sound when engaging reverse gear. It is different from the sound made by reverse sensor.
