Hi bros,
I just bought a 2006 latio sports. Full tank pump in around 41litres. Drove till light up only can hit 330-340 :(
Car done full servicing & changing of autogear oil. Tried various driving methods like rev 2.5 - 3k rpm during pickup etc. Any kind advise can assist?
Frustrating chap :confused1:

bad fc indeed, did you check your rims, did previous owner upgrade to big size heavy rims?

The rev 2.5-3k rpm works for me a bit. I believe its only valid for CVT though.
I used to get 330-340 when i just got my 2006 Latio as well.. but is from 36-39 lits of petrol, not 41lits..
IMO, the biggest factor for FC is the type of route - city or highway driving.

Thanks for the replysss. Rim size is stock 15" leh. My friend is driving a latio mostly city drive can hit 430 at least with 41litres. There must be something wrong somewhere for mine I guess. Any bros tried changing spark plugs and throttle body cleaning helps improve fuel consumption?

Sparks plug needs to be changed per 100k. Other consideration will be air filter, typre pressure, driving style etc
My 7 yrs old plus 4AT latio of 220k is still getting 13 - 13.5km/l.

u can try removing unneeded items from ur car, keep ur tires charged to the recommended psi, aircon also dont need on so big (for me lvl 1 cold enuff), maybe also change to a thinner engine oil, and also keep ur car exterior and interior clean!

i also have very bad FC. Currently i am driving a 2007 CVT Latio sedan i am also getting around 13-13.4km/litre.

Drivin wif aircon off plays a damn big diff in achievin gd fc... i'm runnin on 17" rims w/o aircon i can get 14.5km/l but wif a/c oni 12.5km/l
