Title: 06'' Latio accelerate problem
Post by: edwardlow on May 10, 2014, 02:35:24 AM
I had just purchase this old are for 2 days.
It seems like the gearbox there's problem.
when i was on highway the speed stuck at 60km/h or even during 80km/h.
seems like it doesnt change gear, the rpm also shoots up to 4000 but the speed doesnt increase it's like speeding on air.

is the gearbox spoilt? if so does lemonlaw covers this?

It could due to a few problems..
1 Gear box - wow - money a lot - replacement SGD10K-12K, Overhaul SGD8K, Recon replacement SGD3.5K to SGD4K
2 Ignition coil problem - Nissan parts original SGD85 per pc from stockist need 4 pc - replacement by workshop sgd65-100

suggest you go to a reputable workshop to check - like Delgro carcare - then buy from stockist, and go to your own workshop to get it done

You should go back to the dealer to get it fixed since it is only a few days. It is not going to be cheap.
