Title: Does anyone the cost for full servicing at TCM?
Post by: josho on April 30, 2008, 12:53:54 PM
Wondering if anyone know the total cost for doing the full servicing at 36K (nearing to 40K, might as well do a full servicing since it's 2nd hand).

I saw on Comfort Delgro (http://www.mycas.com.sg/servicing/servicing.asp) costing about $348 for enhance servicing.

Might want to change my spark plug to Denso and K&N air filter.  ::)

Check out this page from TCM webpage:

http://www.nissan.com.sg/service/pkg_psg.pdf

No need to change our spark plugs, the stock Latio ones are iridium spark plugs

hoho... thanks! Is the engine oil they using good enough???

The difference for both TCM (package C) and Comfort (enhance service) is about $60 apart... which is better to go for it?

Do you have idea which brand of Synthetic Oil they are using?

If TCM wants to be mean, any other thing done to your car not done by them can theortically void your warranty, i.e. ez stab, change your tyres, change your rims, change your batteries etc

Another thing to add, which Engine Oil do you guys use normally? Do you use Fasflo Engine Oil provided by TCM?

If we bring our own Engine Oil, how much cheaper will it be? Really appreciate for the input.  ;D

For me, the fastflo engine oil is free so I'm sticking to it.

Might be NPMP package. I remember someone told me in this forum that he is using fasflo since he signed to the package. I reckon

For the free service, they will use mineral oil; syn only if you willing to pay for it. And yes, syn will be FOC when you sign up for the NPMP package. Only upgrade available at the moment is Shogun, which some bros here say not good. They will discount accordingly if you bring your own, but do not think it is worth the trouble as discount quite minimal.

Personally decided to go with TCM as they are the authorised agent, I can put the fault on them should anything happen to the car. Some also recommend that you can go to the outside workshop for minor servicing but to go back to TCM for the major ones (ie change brakes, etc) as TCM should be using OEM parts.
