Hi guys,
I'm interested to buy an extra Ikey from ebay, but do not know if compatible with Singapore ikey or not, anyone try b4?

It should be fine as long as the remote key got transponder will do. But you need to send your car to TCM or some workshop with OBDII to re-map your old and new remote + all transponder keys linked to your latio. Charge around SGD60++ at TCM.

No need to match the FCC code of the key to work?

From my understanding, Nissan won't design a remote control with transponder key for "specific" car model. As long as the remote control is similar to your stock remote control (or you prefer same FCC), it can be work after they "authorized" it via computer (OBDII programming). The most important thing you need to take care is.. if you purchase the key from ebay, the key must be a "Transponder Uncut Key", which you also need it to be programmed into your car's immobilize system via computer (OBDII programming).

Purchase iKey from ebay, what you need to do is
1) Purchase the iKey with Uncut Transponder Key from ebay
2) Once received, go those key maker stall to cut the new key with your existing key
3) Bring all your existing Keyless Remote Control (with key), existing spare key, and the new Keyless Remote Control+new cut transponder key to TCM (or other workshop with OBDII programming skill)
4) Done.

Oya..added info for you, don't need to buy those remote control with "Panic" or "Trunk Release" button... They supposed not working as your Latio doesn't install those "features"  :D

Sorry for bringing up an old thread. Managed to buy a new ikey from overseas.

Anyone know where else I can program the new i key with my old one other than TCM?

Appreciated. Thanks.

i think its better to go back to TC for the reprogramming

you do not want some garage to dup an extra set of your keys wo you knowing it

my 2 cents worth

Thanks for the reply. Makes a lot of sense. I'll pop by TCM at Toa Payoh this weekend.

Have brought it down to TCM and got it copied and cut with no problem. All in, $80 for the key and $65 for the programming. Definitely cheaper than paying $300 plus to do it.

Mind to share where you bought the spare iKey from? Thanks

Yes, definitely a good price to bring in and diy. So far no problems with the new ikey.
