Loss of Power (Help!!)
« on: March 19, 2011, 01:06:54 PM »
Hi guys ....

Was driving at 80kph (*for 20mins) when suddenly car become laggy.
1.  Pickup at stationary moves the car very slowly, this is with pedal fully-depressed RPM stuck at 2Krpm (*car kinda of stuck). After car gain momentum, stuck at 3Krpm @ 80kph
2.  Engaged D / R (*without stepping pedal), car wont move front / back.
3.  Struggling hitting 80kph, engine very noisy, seems like engaging in wrong gear.
4.  When ON the engine, only initial driving (*~10sec drives) is ok but back to 2Krpm limit  after that
5.  Done "manual ECU Programming" does not help

Car at 120K-mileague now, just change CVT-oil / Spark plug at 110Km in Nov.
Any input is appreciated !!

better do CONSULT diagnostic at TC or the usual workshop for nissan.  Have encountered what u described, but only for a short moment and it recovered.
