Buying of Second hand Latio
« on: December 18, 2013, 03:51:14 PM »
hi all,

am currently thinking of upgrading my current ride to a second hand Latio..

http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=357921&DL=1002

Thought to check with you guys if the car in the link above (a) belongs to any of the latio owners here ;D (b) what i should be looking out for in a second hand Latio

just some background.. wife used to drive one but car was sold before we got married. only managed to drive it twice. Impression of the car is that it is quite spacious. fuel efficiency wise - im not sure based on the number of times i've driven the car. Have glanced through the forum quickly. seems like the latio is hitting an average of 12-15 km/litre which is acceptable for me.

just wanna tap on the collective wisdom of all the Latio owners. Appreciate your comments. Thanks in advance!!

2) Is air con cold enough
3) Check whether is the ion and clean switch around says 10 to 15 mins
4) Check for leaks
5) Check under the mats is it wet.

Latio has this steering wheel coupling which used to be having this tok tok sound when you turn it, but think most already resolved by TCM. I changed mine twice till now.

Thanks All,

went to the dealer to take a quick look and am also checking with TCM on the servicing records.. Hope i can join the latio club soon!!

One more thing i noticed.. the passenger side.. for the visor right.. how come there is no "vanity mirror" located there? i thought it was standard?

Does anyone know where i can get a replacement visor with the mirror?
