There are sensors in front of dashboard to detect the temperature. The aircon will compare the measure the temperature with your set temperature.

So in sunny days, the aircon with blast harder to cool down. You should notice it once your drove out during noon.

During cold weather, you need to lower the temperature so the aircon will try to cool the cabin down to the set temperature.

I thought sensors is if the aircon is set to auto mode then its effective and manual mode is to acheive the set temperature irregardless of the external temperture
