Just did my 40K servicing at Autosaver kaki bukit today  ;D

The service is good and transparent (you can see them working). Most importantly, I only pay $215 (with $45 rebate for using own oil) versus TC's $366 with no rebate. Gotta top-up $60 for air-con filter though  :crycry:

No extra service charge for changing filter, wheel alignment and give me a pair of free wipers.  The only complaint.. the resting lounge s**ks big time  :nonod: Well, fair enough considering the savings i enjoyed.

Don't think I will ever go back to TCM again..  ;D

Hi Bro,  I thought 40k service at TCM is Package C, which cost > $400?

Hi bros,

Just take note that the price to change CVT oil is $98 not $60. Due to Latio using a different CVT.
Other than this, recently when I done my 60k servicing, I am quite please with autosaver service at kaki bukit. At least I can check with them what item is what item and they are are willing to answer my enquires.

TC is a blood-$ucker man... last year, I repaired my latio back-side after kanna banged... TC quoted me $2K+ for change of bumper and straighten hatchback door.. Since I claimed against the Lexus driver, I dun care but I was shocked on their price  :scared: It was just a small damage at about 50-60Kmh  :out:

This year, I went TC to change my headlight bulb after a few failed DIY attempts  :glare: The mechanic dropped the bulb into headlight casing... Then the supervisor told me they need to remove the front bumper to retrieve the bulb for $80 labour charge!  :out: I insisted they do it FOC since they pushed it themselves! Eventually, they got everything fixed for me FOC

These are just some reasons why I decided to go Autosaver for my 40K.. I rather pay $$ to more worthy workshops than TC !

Just did my 20000KM servicing at AutoSaver this morning. All I can say is double tumbs up for the friendly and efficient AutoSaver staff. Paid only $134.29 after deducting some serivices which I did not require plus I brought my own engine oil. Compared to TC's package @ $349, you really save loads when you service at AutoSaver.

Let's say 4 consecutive services for CVT car, ( 40k, 50k, 60k, 70K):

total cost in autosaver  98+98+195+260+90 ( CVT oil ) + 7% GST =$793.

if take NPMP in TC, total cost is $1013, CVT oil and brake pad are all included in this package, the dfference is around $100.

don't think it is worth to take risk just for $100.

Correct me if I am wrong

I have just done 40k svc at Ubi TC.  The cost of 40k svc is S$422 (include engine oil).
I brought my own oil & told them I got ss airfilter so no need to change (just clean).
I also reminded them not to change wiper becos i always park indoors.
Thus, whatever you tell them not to change, TC will deduct the items' costs from S$422.
I paid S$316 only. The main reason why most of us are still paying to maintain our car in TC is becos of the warranty issues.
If you dont maintain yr car properly with TC, they can void the warranty & any complaints resulting in the changing of parts will be chargeable.
I have noted that our Latios got alot of similar problems, ranging from our suspensions, to the steering wheel joint, the whistling noise that can be heard & some on the gear box...
So anyone who went elsewhere for svc, TC can void the warranty.
My previous ride....i went to Mazda authorised wkshop for 40K svc & they didnt update their system...so when i went back to Mazda to complaint & get replacemt on my door rubber (torn), they told me that I have to pay for it becos I didnt go back to them for my 40K svc! I showed them the billl & they apologised, saying that its not yet updated. I got the door rubber replaced FOC! (the rubber costs S$100!)
I will be going elsewhere for 10k svc when my warranty is no longer valid. :yehyeh:
