oh man... i share the same sentiments... i was asked to top up $1300 today too...

looking for the past 3 bids... 11850, 12050 and yest's 12850. It's obvious that they increase the amount to put up a show... what is the percentage/probability of the COE price going lower than current for the next bid? and they jus bid the same amount as per previous price...

do they really wana make a deal with us? that ponders.......

anyway i'm not going to add anymore amount too... if dun have, so be it.. hehe

i might be looking at CNG cars now... who knows wat models they have in the market? i heard honda stream has.. is it true?

You are correct.  This means that she will gain another dollar as the Cat A should be $12,002.  Hehe.

When your SE makes the offer and you accept, that is a binding agreement already.  He cannot add in other conditions subsequent and ask you to top-up.  Think you will get your car real soon as they do not need that many days to prepare your car.

Wah! This means that if no top up is required, his commission is quite substantial.

Anyone want to make a guess on the COE premium for this current bid?  Will the increase be less than 1K, 1-2K,  or more?  (Just trying to make the mood light as bro/sis here waiting for their coe are anxious.)  Cheers!

Good luck to all bros/sis going for this afternoon coe bidding  :yehyeh:
Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for, in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes and the car and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

Jilat liao la.  From next bid, the gaverment cut down quota liao.  TCM web site shows price of latio go up again.  The listed price on the web for Latio Premium is $68,500.  Even after all kind of discount, still much higher than the price you booked 2 months ago.  Not trying to be wet blanket, just being realistic.  Still, wish you all the best.

I think if the increase in COE premium is more than the profit margins which TCM factored in when you signed the purchase agreement, likely you will not get the COE unless you willing to topup or for the COE to go downtrend.

Can refer to LTA website to find our the OMV + COE + ARF + Excess Duty + GST.  This is the price where TCM need to declare to LTA. Selling price minus the above amount is their profit margin.
