Just pumped last night, ard 8pm at jb 2ndlink, my FC was abt 16.xxkm/L :)

Good for you bro, I'm sure you managed to save abit $$$. Anyway, was travelling to & from Tamp to SAFTI for abt 100km daily for my reservist last week, managed to clock 17.9km/l for a full tank. Yeah that's my new record!  :bleh:

Yo, good for you.

Thanks bro...my advice to always control our right foot to rev bet 2k-2.5k rev & between 90-95km/hr during overdrive should achieve better FC  ::)

Yo

Ya, 2000rpm can enjoy 100km/h speed for CVT. You are very right.

But,

If i am going to KL, sure speed one. When speed, will accelerate more.

But again,
You are right also, must control our right foot, because for CVT, we can slowly accelerate if there are no cars right in front of us, by slowly accelerate from 2000rpm (enjoy 100km/h) then slowly accelerate to 120km/h, that shld be able achieveable at 2200rpm or slightly more rpm. To enjoy 140km/h to 150km/h, i think 2400 to 2800rpm can hit liao!!! Still good FC at the end!!!

That's the 'beauty' of our ride....comfort & quiet engine during high speed together w rather moderate rev even at speed above 120km/hr....on hindside acceleration damn slow...but nothing beats the comfort feeling, still enjoying every moment of my ride... :D

I think I saw Soundclad during my free leather grooming at Sin Ming...Soundclad is a type of soundproofing that will reduce external noise during driving, personally have not ride on a car with soundclad...but heard positive feedback abt it...when close doors it sounds solid yet not 'plastic'...

Price-wise think its abt $120-$150...saw from the Commercial thread some bros offering similar service too... ;)

If I remembered correctly, it is not a one-off damage.  Need to go for regular "check-up".  If necessary, will have to do "treatment" to maintain level of soundproof.

Not FOC.  I not expert so don't know the "technical term" used.  At least that was what I was told 3 years ago when I went to Sin Ming for the free leather conditioning.  At that time, they also recommended me for a 6-in-1 don't know what type of package that include sound-proof, body paint protection, etc.  Not cheap.  Got budget constraint, so skip that all together.  Think they mentioned spraying to fill/seal the gaps so that outside noise will be reduced.  If the sprayed material dropped off, need to do patch up.  (The soundproof way is different from others where they put layers to block out sound.)

Ya, its the same as System 6...some bros requested their TCM SC to provide free System 6 & soundclad during purchase of their rides...but it'll last only abt 1 year...then on have to have annual check-up...maintainence fee quite ex....

hi guys, pia say pia say been MIA for a few days.

Yes, i did sound clad at the Sim Ming.

http://www.tuffi.com.sg/clad.html

So happened that my father's friend working there so i got the stuff done real cheap.. did Tuff Kote Dinol and Sound Clad. Didn't do system 6 caused aleady did CSII.

Yes, there is a yearly check up where they will check all the coatings and touch up if necessary. No fee charged UNLESS you need to redo extensive areas. highly unlikely lah. So far so good. :) almost 5 mths and 13K km liao.
