They will give you a discount to offset the oil that you brought yourself.

Yo Bro....i believe alot of lations share the same setiments as yours with lots of qns on the FC....like mine also has drop but mainly due to my route of travelling and % of highways vs cities area..so really gotta gauge the rational behind lor... Anyway, few factors that may cater to the reasons behind although some may / may not agree lah

Air Con adjustment (How cold / hot you adjusted)
Tyres (Air inflation did you check freq)
Traffic Congestion (Traffics also need to consider the idling time, stopping period)
Foot how heavy (Heavier you are, more it will lim your petrol)
Speed constant (Maintain proper speed all the way to avoid unnec wastage of petrol)
Way of driving - Sudden brake / pickup, etc..(rem any sudden movement sure pump our ride heart heavy big time)
Route Area (City vs highway %)

Any more to add on Lations???? :yehyeh: :yehyeh:

Hi,

I was advised and did the following

1. Air Con adjustment - 25 - 25 degrees
2. Air con pipe - wrap with black colour air con tubing

For tyre air pressure, I will pump around once a week. Am trying 250 Kpa (front) and 230 Kpa (back). The recommended pressure by Nissan is based on cold air. After tyre travel for a distance, it will get warm. Thus, I pump more so that when the tyre cool down and the air contract, I will be getting like 235-240.

Mine mileage is average 12.5

Hi

I pump Caltex RON 98.
50% city and 50% highway
I accelerate to approximately 3000.
Small road usually travel between 70-80 km/h
Highway usually between 80 - 110 km/h. 110 km/h is once or twice a week when I travel on TPE.

Have you tried 95RON before?

Does it gives less power and poorer mileage than 98RON?

If 98RON gives better mileage than 95RON, I don't mind switching.

Hi

Has been using Caltex 95 until Jul. If I compare power and smoothness, Caltex 98 wins.

For mileage, I have yet to notice the difference.

Actually hor, I switch to 98 because I have 16% discount. If not, I will just stick to 95 lah.

What petrol you pump ah?

If u run 30-40km straight, u get FC14-15, if U travel 10+20km straight, FC is between 11-13

I try Esso 5000, shell 95,  Caltex silver and SPC 95

My review from worse to better

SPC

Your review purely based on mileage ? What about smoothness and response ?

I am currently using Esso 95 RON. I get between 10 to 12km/l.

Have not tried any other brands as I read from feedback here that Esso gives the best mileage.

hi limck007

i thk your 12.5km/l is abt d same as my 13km/l since Oct07 , coz that time the fuel price was cheaper.

Your mileage should improve significantly after your engine has run in.
