My FC getting worse.......help!!

OK a bit misleading on the comment on that picture..
of coz , No doubt of coz i reset my meter to 0 after pumped to brim...
u can judge urself the needle at 80km..it actually dipped a bit. At 0, the needle is way on top...

When you mentioned that you pumped to the brim, was it to the extend that the petrol almost flowed out?

Or did you stop the momment the fuel noozle auto cut off?

7.Reduce air con to 27
8.Drive windows down
9.Remove additional weight

11.Get wheel properly balanced
12.Minimize or avoid performance mods

14.Avoid adding sports pedals to ur pedals
15.Rid spare tyres
16.Avoid adding unnecessary or lousy designed body kits
17.Adding 5% more pressure to tyre

Pumped petrol to full by filling to brim, travelled 80km,needle drop a bit..



reaching 1st quarter mark ...160km


completed 1st quarter mark ...ard 200km..(litres consumed should b ard 12litres)


halfway to 260


hit 53% mark ...mileage reach 353


Pumped petrol at 431 with 25.32 squeezed in, FC - 17km/l

Like dat the SHELL Economy Challege you surely will win others flat flat, man.

it dosent matter. i understand by squeezing to brim..u get more mileage...but ur FC can also be jeopardize if throughout the tank , something bad affect ur FC

but even if u take the average of my 2 tank records(just pumped , clicked and remove nozzle style) it is still possible to achieve 16k/l

Just note that to take a more accurate FC if u haave been filling to brim , then keep doing so...
coz some day u feel to brim , someday u clicked and remove..u will juz cr8 false data

some ppl lucky can get a very good FC car even when they lup petrol

FC improvement is dependent on cars..think mines had 2 milestones...12k and 20k

Right now my tank is half, around 280+ onli, also far from 353 lol..

Anyway my previous tank got me a new record: 15.1km/l 

Nt much change in driving method, one of the major reason i believed is:

Usually i pump SPC 98, den last week finally get to pump shell although the tank left around 55% den the great thing comes..
My FC from 14.2km/l (around) increases to 15.1km/kl, which is a major improvement~

Well, will try to see if this tank is as good

Last week, my trip to KL, avg FC was abt 11.7 to 12km/L.

Hehe. Because my foot didn't listen to me, when i speed in the NSHW, the RPM will hit 3000 to 4000. At times, it hit 5000rpm.

How how how? :)

mine also ard there.. 220-240km at half mark. until yellow light maybe 450km. like this is about 38l, so fc is ~12km/l only.
yes i usually top up at yellow light and fill until the pump clicks off. but this should not matter. average out over many many tanks i still see <12km/l. sigh.

recently jam jam jam on expressway, so really i think u can consider it 20% hwy, 80% city. like ******** like that!

Pls relax. It is nothing that we can avoid! Just bear with it.
Or, just try to drive with 2000 rpm or below. But if for short trip like 10 to 12km per round, your FC can't save much too.

me oridi numb liao. initially keep thinking y others can achieve such good fc but not me? wat i c the difference is i iwll keep the aircon on when i m in the car. cant bear the wind noise spoiling my music if wind down window.

actually i oridi get tcm to reset my ecu 2 times liao. but no help at all. so now just hoping and praying that MY Green Oil will have effect and improve my fc.

Did last servicing at autosaver , they tuned my car back to optimal settings i think..from there FC has been hitting 16k/l with ease.
