Thumbs Ups for TCM!!!
« on: August 14, 2008, 09:45:40 PM »
I have been servicing outside ever since the 3 free servicing... but this afternoon i went back due to having some sound from  exhaust, engine area and suspension... without asking y i haven been serviciing with them... the service team went on to help  me troubleshoot the sound problems and tighten all the exhaust joints and replaced the parts causing the noise in this case - the air con compressor. After collecting the car... all the noise are gone!!! My gf cant even tell whether i started my engine......

Guess this will solve the myth that TCM will void your warranty if you dun go back and service with them... btw i did all these in the loyang workshop

Thank you TCM!

Hmmm... Personally, the TCM service at Bukit Timah is so much better than TPY one  Only reason I go to TPY is it's nearer my home :crycry: Never tried the Loyang one though (too far)

The good service you get also depends on which Service Advisor you approach.

But I thought I read in another thread that Tan Chong does not void your warranty if you service outside?

So it seems now that they really do void your warranty if you don't service with them.  :confused1:

Before iagree going to throw me the question, here's my answer - No, I'm not from TPY TCM Workshop

Good for you bro... TPY has always given me problems... Once I got into such a quarrel that I refused to collect my car and I complained to the HQ... The manager from BT called me, gave me free 60k servicing (I'm on NMPM) with free option of replacement car while awaiting the repairs... Everyone from the counterstaff to the 2 SAs, mechanics and branch manager were rude to me then, insulted me and my profession... Very bad experience... Will never go back to TPY again...

Sigh... That's why I'm still deciding whether I should get my 60K servicing there or go to bukit timah instead (the free one)
